We were glad that Reid was a boy (not that we wouldn't have loved a girl too) because Evan likes calling things that match brothers. We explained that baby Reid is his brother because they have the same Mommy and Daddy. Evan thought that was pretty cool, so he requested to eat his breakfast next to Reid today, and he also asked to hold him. Evan checks on Reid and likes to know where he is. He was not too pleased that Auntie wanted to hold Reid the last time she was here. He kept suggesting places where she could put the baby (in the crib, Mommy, in Evan's room, in Reid's swing, in Reid's chair) so they could play.
