Evan's New Tricks

Evan has a new word. He says "Hello" although it sounds like "Doe Doe". Mike figured that one out as Evan likes to pretend everything is a phone. Last night, he took Auntie's camera and Mommy's eyeglasses case, put them to his ear, and said "Doe Doe", then proceeded to jabber as if on the phone!

Evan also raises his arms in the air when he hears "Touchdown" and claps afterwards like a good little sports fan.

When Evan hears "Goodbye" he opens and shuts his hand.

Chicks Dig Me. . .

Not suprising that chicks dig me. . .after all, I've got this awesome ride and Wiggles couch.

Havin' fun at Auntie's

Evan loves to go to Auntie's house. Not only are there lots of remotes and buttons to push on Auntie's boyfriend, Travis's, electronics, but Auntie has a dog named Max. Max is great with kids and is very gentle. Evan often teases Max with food by giving it to him, then pulling it away before Max can get it. Luckily, Max doesn't seem to mind and is more interested in giving Evan kisses!!!

Computer Woes. . .

The Connors family computer has taken it's final bow. The writing has been on the wall for sometime now that a new computer is imminent, but the now kaput computer worked fine as long as it was not turned off. Then along came Evan and his love of pushing buttons. His cute little pointer finger put the final nail in the coffin for the computer.

No . . .mom

Evan has learned to talk back. When being redirected recently, he repeated "No!" then added "Mom" for good measure. Now the word 'no' is always followed by 'mom'.

New batteries can do wonders!

I replaced the batteries to Evan's Snoopy snow globe (it never got put away since Christmas). There was snow flying and carols playing like crazy. Evan has been able to press the button for a while now, but there wasn't much excitement as the old batteries had seen their day. He was quite excited for the bright colors and loud songs this evening.

Pillows are the new cool toy.

Evan has discovered the beauty of the pillow. He spends a lot of time dragging them around, sitting down, and then getting up again to re-position them.

Choices, Choices, Choices!

Evan found himself with two cups of milk the other day. He was pretty tickled, but he just couldn't decide which one to carry around. He finally picked his cup with the pirates on it. :-)

Tummy Troubles

Evan had some tummy troubles this weekend. We were rockin' the Pedialyte quite a bit. We had our first official blow-out in public yesterday. There was poo all over his legs, feet and shorts. Luckily, we were headed to the car from the grocery store when it came about. I was prepared though - only one receiving blanket was a casualty. We went home after, but for the record, we could have kept going - it pays to over prepare your car for these occasions. Here's a picture of Evan on Friday night. He's sitting on his Wiggles couch watching the Wiggles. He's a fan, and it made him feel better. :-)
