Mail Slots
Evan has discovered the joy of the mail slot. The problem is - we don't have one. Evan shoves paper through the holes in our recycle box - no big deal. Evan puts junk mail in between the books in the bookshelves - no big deal. Evan put poker chips in the slots of our portable fan that is unplugged in our bedroom while I was doing my make up last week - ok, that's fixable. Evan dropped a coloring book in between the booth and the wall at a restaurant - well, that's the end of that book - they'll find it when they remodel in 10 years. Last night, Evan found a slot to put a puzzle piece. The little vents at the top of our oven received the letter "S." Mike and I were standing right there talking and he pointed it out. He knows he is not allowed to open the oven which he didn't. It's stuck in the door now. I can't use the oven until Mike unscrews the inside and gets the letter out. I'm hoping he is ingenious like this in life....

Too Funny! I didn't even know you could do that! Ryder put memory cards for our cameras in the paper shredder slot. Luckily I noticed a lot of them were missing from my desk drawer and started hunting around for them...saw them peeking out of the shredder..otherwise I would have shredded them. Even scarier that he was playing with the shredder than the fact that the memory cards were gone!
