Busy, Busy, Busy

Evan can best be described in two words: curious and busy. Mike's baseball team got to play at Victory Field (the Triple A Ball Club's home field - downtown Indianapolis) on Friday night. Evan and I climbed up to the suite level, walked out to the outfield, checked every bathroom stall in one of the restrooms, leaned against the dug-out ceiling. You name it, we explored it on Friday night. Evan had pink cheeks (because sitting still is not something he does) and Mommy's legs hurt (because flip-flops were not an appropriate shoe to wear when following an almost 2-year-old for two hours). Thank God for Grandma Mary and Auntie. Evan chilled for about 10 minutes with Grandma Mary to give me a break, and then Auntie and Papa took Evan home (so I could watch the rest of the game).

There's merit in having kids when you're young. I work all day and then I work all night until Evan goes to bed. I'm tired. :-)
