Slow Picture Week
Last week was a slow picture week. Mike went back to work last week, so all of the getting up and down and taking care of Reid and Evan was left to me. I would be fine while I was doing the work, but by the end of the day I think a 3 year old and a 2 story house aren't a good combination after having a c-section. I also somehow managed to catch a virus. So, I got out of the house to pay a visit to the doctor. I'd rather the germs get me than Reid, but it's still no fun. :( Here are the pictures of the week. Enjoy!

More Pics
Reid's on his belly....
...then on his back (all on his own at 1 week old). Way to go Reid!
Those big fuzzy socks are so cute on his skinny legs.
Evan was reading bedtime stories to Reid. "See Reid!" is what he said over and over.
Saturday morning cartoons
Cutie pie
Evan took this picture of Reid and me - not bad Ev!
Evan was eating his Happy Meal with chopsticks - inventive. :)

Reid might know; let's ask him.
This video cracks me up - Evan talks to Reid as if Reid will pop out with a response. Yesterday he said, "Mom. I think Reid is right; Papa will be here any second." I must've been out of the room for that conversation. If you can't understand Evan in the video, he's telling me to take my camera away because he needs to see if Reid has seen the remote control.

More pictures from the last 12 days....
Sleeping hard....
Evan likes to check in with Reid and let him know stuff - today he told Reid that Reid likes the movie "The Polar Express." Good to know.
Evan looks like a dweeb, but I don't look too bad....
Our little ham....
I think Reid is going to get Mike's hair color and hazel eyes....
Evan checking in again....
The boy frowns when he sleeps - it's so cute.
Ti and Reid
Go home day at the hospital...
Evan was very intrigued by Reid's belly button....

Training him young - Bear Down!

Birth Announcement Pics
Here are the pictures we included in Reid's birth announcment. He's less than a week old in all of them - my goal was to get them out by 1 week old; otherwise, it would have taken me forever. (It took me 6 days to get some thank you cards out this week. In my head, that's way too long!)

As I predicted...
...Reid hates the bathtub. Reid didn't make much noise when he was born - until they started messing with his feet. He cries during every diaper change. He squealed at me when I put lotion on his peeling hands. I had no doubt that he would HATE the bathtub. The boy needed a wash, so Evan and I gave him a bath. It was 30 seconds long - just long enough to rinse him. (Luckily, newborns aren't too grubby.) Mike snapped 3 pictures. Reid cried. We'll have Evan give him a peptalk - he lives for his tubby time. :)
The Drums
Evan got this "drumset" (Thank God for technology - it has a volume control and an earplug option) from my mom and dad for Christmas. He forgets about it for weeks at a time, but when he rediscovers it, it's rock 'n roll time. Here are a few pictures of Evan rockin' around the family room on Sunday.
