On Monday night, a serious ice storm hit our city. We didn't lose power (woo-hoo!), but school was canceled for everyone for 4 days. This is rare. Where I work, school cancels more than where Mike works. I work in a mostly rural district though. Our neices, who also go to school nearby, were canceled for 4 days as well. They've spent 2 days with us since we're home. Today, we baked cut-out cookies. I hate baking & decorating cut-out cookies. Since there were 3 cutters and decorators, we went for it. They had a nice time. I told the kids they could each eat 1 cookie. The oldest neice ate 1. The youngest neice ate 2. Evan (who is a year younger than the youngest neice), took a bite of each one. My oldest neice called it "Quality Assurance." What a nice spin she put on that!

First of all I just want to say that you look amazing! Are you sure these were from this week? LOL! I would not know you were pregnant, let alone having a baby in May by looking at these pictures!
What fun!!! We've had the exact same scenario here...Matt's office was closed for 4 days which I didn't think would EVER happen! He is stir crazy for sure! I told him that I could see how if all you did was stay at home and never go anywhere you could get really fat. All there is to do is bake and eat!
