A Chicago Bear and a Football

Evan and Reid were excited about Halloween on Monday.  Evan was Brian Urlacher from the Chicago Bears, and Reid was a football.  Reid went around in the stroller for about an hour, and Evan lasted 90 minutes.  Not bad.

Family Pictures

My best friend, Alea, has been taking pictures for a few years.  They. Are. Awesome.  She is soooo good at it.  She offered to do some family pics while she was in Fort Wayne last weekend.  We went to IPFW (where Alea and I met - our college) and she took some great shots!  We haven't had formal pictures taken of all of us since Mike and I got married 6 years ago.  In the pictures it looks like Evan likes getting his picture taken and is posing for the camera.  He's so not.  She is just that good.  If you live in Indiana or Florida, check her out.  She lives in Florida but gets back to Indiana 3 or 4 times a year.  "Like" her on facebook:  Ava Bleu Photography or check out her website http://www.avableuphoto.com

 

 

Cousin Weekend!

Evan and Reid's cousins came to stay for the weekend.  (They don't live more than 20 minutes away, but their dad was out of town and asked if they could stay.)  Evan was pumped - we looked forward to it all week. 

After school on Friday, I picked up Evan & Reid and got the girls from school.  We went straight to the pumpkin patch where we met Andria (Ti) and Mike after they got off of work.  The kids played in the play area, went through the big corn maze, and then we went to the little market and bought a bag of "King David" apples. 

We got home, watched Tangled (we ended up watching it 4 times this weekend), ate pizza & apples, Facetimed with Grandma & went to bed.  On Saturday, we ate yummy donuts, my oldest niece and I went to an awesome garage sale, we carved pumpkins (the little ones lost interest in about 5-10 minutes), made apple cobbler, and caramel apples.  The house smelled great!
