Men Under Snuggies

I had to snap a picture of Mike and Evan under the Snuggie. Mike hates the part where it has arms, but he does agree that it is long enough and light enough for him to use (sans the arms).

Santa

We went with Alex and her parents to see Santa at the mall last Wednesday. Evan wasn't all about sitting on Santa, but he was happy to sit next to Santa. It wasn't going to go well if the moms weren't in the picture though....In the formal picture, we see where we missed wiping the ketchup off of Evan's face, and Alex is not too pleased about the entire situation. (I'll spare you from that one.)

Jump (on the toy tubs)

Wouldn't you know when he fell down, he landed on his butt and then got right back up. Most kids would shy away, but it was like a challenge to jump and not fall.

Whoops - Wrong Shorts!

Here is a picture of Evan in Mikes shorts. They're a little big right now....Check out the first picture. Mike has Evan's pants on. ;-)

Bedtime

We said, "Bye bye paci - we'll miss you, but we don't need you anymore," (for good this time) recently. We also turned Evan's bed into a 3-sided "big boy" bed. We read books (he finally has begun letting us read to him again) before bed. He likes his Leslie Patricelli books so much I had to put a nightstand next to his bed so he could read by nightlight afte we turn out the lights. :-)

The Love Affair Continues

Evan - 2009

Evan (showing Alex how it works) - 2008

Evan - 2007

My mom and dad bought Evan a Snoopy snow globe when he was 6 months old. It was the 2nd gift he opened on his 1st Christmas - big mistake. He was only interested in that - in fact - we didn't put it away until August or so....Here is Evan with his Snoopy snow globe each year....

Tree Topper

Evan got to put the star on top of the tree this year. He got pretty close. Mike's dad always used to lift him up and let him do it. It made Mike's day when he got to do it with Evan, who is finally old enough. :-)
