Bedtime
We said, "Bye bye paci - we'll miss you, but we don't need you anymore," (for good this time) recently. We also turned Evan's bed into a 3-sided "big boy" bed. We read books (he finally has begun letting us read to him again) before bed. He likes his Leslie Patricelli books so much I had to put a nightstand next to his bed so he could read by nightlight afte we turn out the lights. :-)
A tree full of toys!
Evan thinks the Christmas tree is a new take on his toybox. Many of our ornaments are Snoopy, snowmen or Hallmark (think Santa and Matchbox cars) which look like toys. Here is a picture of a couple of ornaments he tore off of the tree while we weren't looking. He managed to get them to the table to play with before we hung them back up...higher this time.

Evan = Cutie Pie
We've had quite a week already, and it's only Thursday night. We started off on Sunday with Thanksgiving at Grandma Mary's house. Evan had fun playing with her stash of old school Little People. He came down with a cold that day, so he and I stayed home on Monday. On Tuesday, Miss Alea (my friend) came to visit and play. On Wednesday Papa came to visit and play (and spend the night). We made Papa's day by putting Evan in his Purdue hoodie. Thanksgiving was at our house, and Evan's still sick. We had some grumpy moments, but he had a good day. :-)

Glasses, Jammies, and Rocky
*Evan got some glasses from me the other day. The fundraiser from my school gave out the "prizes" (the junk) and a student gave me a pair of glasses for Evan.
*I bought him a Rocky shirt at Target a couple of weeks ago - here he is wearing it. Mike loves this shirt on him.
*I couldn't resist taking a picture of him in his "mayner/creamy" (Mater and McQueen) Cars jammies.
