While getting our food served at McAllister's the other day, Evan grabbed what he could reach of his plate and threw it on the floor along with a growly-yell. We gave him a chance to stop, but he did not. Mike said, "We will not be doing this in public young man," and we got to-go containers and went home. The ugliness continued a little later when he threw food again. Mike gave him a talking-to and the pouty lip came out and tears filled his eyes (I had to look away because it was a teensy bit funny). The food throwing subsided once he realized he disappointed his Dad. Something tells me this may not be our only premature departure from public places; he's kinda stubborn. These pictures are in-between the ugliness.

Evan-size Countertop
Evan likes setting stuff up on his toolbench. Here is this morning's breakfast along with his singing bunny (with chicks and a frog). He started setting stuff up on Miss Melba's kitchen chairs too; he fixes his problems pretty quickly if he doesn't like the adult solution (the high chair).
I forgot to mention- we're "big" now and high chairs are too little for us. We had to switch him to a regular booster seat at home; at Miss Melba's he insists on sitting on his knees to eat at the table. Stubborn little sucker - I think he gets it from his dad...or his mom...or his Papa...or his Grandma Peggy...or his Grandma Mary....
