Messes

Here are the puffies Evan agreed to eating the other day when I asked him if he wanted them. He wanted to check out the snow a bit more. He's really good about picking up toys together, but he wasn't so in to picking up puffies.

Watchin' Dad Shovel

It actually snowed and stayed the other day. Evan likes watching Mike shovel the walk, so I opened up the front window blinds. Here are two pictures- one is from February last year and one is from Wednesday. Look at how much taller Evan is in the window. I don't see it until I look at pictures like this because I see him every day.

Whew.

Evan cried when Mike dropped him off at the sitter's this morning. He was clingy with Miss Melba all day. He had a few tantrums tonight which included throwing a measuring cup at me (which gave me a knot on my forehead). He rocked time-out a couple of times. He's still working on those last 2 canine-type teeth on his left side. The poor kid didn't feel well today. Did I meniton he pooped in the tub? 7:00 couldn't come soon enough for me tonight and I picked him up at 4:00. This picture of Evan is from a couple of weeks ago. He was watching his latest favorite, Alvin and the Chipmunks (the movie).

Is Evan ready for middle school?

Here's video of Evan running the halls of middle school already; they grow up so fast! ;-)

Or is he ready for college?

Evan has a 'college' sweatshirt, knowledge of how to use the computer, and enjoys eating cheesies on the couch. It looks like he's on his way to the fraternity house pretty soon.

Messes Get Lighter

It was back to work for Mike and me today after our Winter Break. I welcomed the day because I like my job more than I like wiping up Evan's messes (which there are plenty of). Here are a couple of pictures of "Evan marinara" from the other day.

Change of Heart

We love Brownie now. It only took a week for him to warm up to it! (Maybe we'll try a carousel again.)
