Pillows are the new cool toy.

Evan has discovered the beauty of the pillow. He spends a lot of time dragging them around, sitting down, and then getting up again to re-position them.

Choices, Choices, Choices!

Evan found himself with two cups of milk the other day. He was pretty tickled, but he just couldn't decide which one to carry around. He finally picked his cup with the pirates on it. :-)

Tummy Troubles

Evan had some tummy troubles this weekend. We were rockin' the Pedialyte quite a bit. We had our first official blow-out in public yesterday. There was poo all over his legs, feet and shorts. Luckily, we were headed to the car from the grocery store when it came about. I was prepared though - only one receiving blanket was a casualty. We went home after, but for the record, we could have kept going - it pays to over prepare your car for these occasions. Here's a picture of Evan on Friday night. He's sitting on his Wiggles couch watching the Wiggles. He's a fan, and it made him feel better. :-)

Miss Alea came to visit...

...straight from Tropical Storm Faye! You know when The Weather Channel comes to your town, it's time to leave. That's exactly what Alea did! Alea and Evan cuddled up for Evan's bottle of the day. The doctor said to phase them out by fifteen months, so we're down to about five ounces in one bottle a day. It's about the only time of day Evan's cuddly, so nobody really minds that he's using a bottle when it's their turn to hold him.

Let my people go.

So Evan loves it when my dad comes to town. Dad recently had knee surgery and he uses a cane. Evan takes the cane and walks around with it like he's Moses. Dad even made a little cane for Evan. Evan's excited, because now he has 2 when Pa-pa is here.

Hungry Kid

If we ever leave the pantry open, in Evan goes. We were mysteriously missing several lids to our storage containers so we had to put the trash can in there because somebody was throwing things away. Because of this, it's easier to climb up and see what's for snack, which is what the dag-gone Houdini did on Thursday after school.

You'd think this was posed....

...but it wasn't. Evan fell asleep in the car last night on the way home from Grandma Mary's. He loves his Cubbies ball (and hat) and will often play with it in the car. (We leave the bat at home.)
