Oh Tootles!

Here is Reid saying his favorite words/phrases:  Oh Tootles!  Reid Michael.  Hi.  Bye.

Please excuse the applesauce.  We're working on eating with utensils these days.

Captain America & Mickey Mouse

Halloween went well.  We found Evan's Captain America costume on sale at Target in September.  Grandma sewed Reid some Mickey Mouse shorts.  Evan went around with his neighbors (and Daddy).  Reid and I went around the block and got him some loot too.  :)  Reid said, "Trick or Treat, Candy, & Bye!" to the homeowners.  It was pretty cute.  Grandma & Aunt Judy stopped by as well.  Fun, fun, fun!

Pumpkin Carving

Evan likes it when I carve his pumpkin. He hates the gooey stuff in the middle.  We were just going to paint our pumpkins this year, but at the last minute (about 90 minutes before bedtime) tonight, I carved his pumpkin for him.  It has glasses just like him!

A Little More Hipster

Evan got a second pair of glasses (this is his back up pair - that he seems to like a little more than his "expensive" pair).  The frames are little bigger than his other pair.  I'd say he dresses more "jock" than "hipster," (if it's not sweats or warm-up pants, we hear about it) but he is working these, and looking so stinkin' cute in them.

Please Sleep

I will forever love any picture of Evan sleeping. We did not take many at all when he was teeny.  (Why wake the beast, right?)  He did not sleep through the night consistently until he was 18 months old.  He still fights sleep and going to bed years later.  This is him, sleeping in our bed during his nap last weekend.  I told him he could read books until I checked on him.  Mike went up before I did, and found this.

Oreos

Reid happens to only like the middle of the Oreo cookie.  Smart kid.  That's the best part.
